Sivas brown bears captured fighting over food scraps

Wildlife photographer Mustafa Aslan captured footage of brown bears fighting over food scraps in Sivas, Turkey. While observing the animals with two colleagues, the group witnessed tension escalate as the bears competed for limited food remnants left behind by humans.

Aslan reported that the bears, seeking easier energy sources, were drawn to these human-provided scraps rather than foraging naturally. The confrontation became intense as darkness fell, with the photographers noting they could feel the vibrations of the physical strikes and hear the loud sounds produced during the struggle. The encounter was described as both exciting and frightening for the observers.
