Sivas candidates attend 2026-KPSS exam session

Candidates in Sivas, Turkey, gathered at the Sivas Cumhuriyet University Faculty of Letters campus to participate in the 2026-KPSS A Group General Ability-General Culture session. Organized by ÖSYM, the exam required strict security protocols, with doors closing at 10:00 AM.

A local mother, Mevlüde Ateş, drew attention for her dedication to her daughter. Despite being hospitalized for physical therapy, Ateş left the hospital to support her daughter on the exam morning. She spent the waiting period reciting prayers, including the Yasin-i Şerif, for all candidates at the exam site.

Families of the candidates remained outside the buildings, offering emotional support and prayers. Some students experienced stress during the security checks, requiring assistance to remove personal items such as watches and jewelry before entering the examination halls.
