Sivas Cumhuriyet University Hospital nears completion

The construction of the new Sivas Cumhuriyet University Health Services Application and Research Hospital has reached its final stages. Abdullah Güler, AK Party Group Chairman of the TBMM, announced that the provisional acceptance procedures were completed last week, marking a significant milestone for the 1,071-bed facility.

The hospital features a closed area of approximately 198,000 square meters and a total usage area of 204,000 square meters. Current efforts are focused on cleaning, furnishing, and addressing minor deficiencies identified during the provisional acceptance phase. Initial investments of approximately 50 million TL have been allocated for furniture and equipment, with further budget support promised as needed.

Once operational, the hospital is intended to serve not only Sivas but also the surrounding provinces of Tokat, Erzincan, Malatya, and Yozgat, providing high-quality surgical and medical infrastructure to the region. President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan will be invited to the official opening ceremony once all preparations are finalized.
