Sivas Cumhuriyet University rises in international academic rankings

Sivas Cumhuriyet University has demonstrated significant growth in international academic rankings according to the AD Scientific Index 2027 results. Represented by 182 academics, the institution showed improvements across key bibliometric indicators, including H-Index, i10-Index, and total citation counts, on global, European, and national levels.

In terms of total citations, the university rose 76 places globally to rank 1,477th, 19 places in Europe to 596th, and reached 38th among 209 universities in Turkey. The H-Index saw a global rise of 66 places to 1,597th, while the i10-Index improved by 62 places globally to rank 1,226th.

Specific academic fields showed notable performance, with the university ranking 160th globally in Education, 226th in Natural Sciences, and 369th in History, Philosophy, and Theology. Individually, Prof. Dr. Savaş Kaya led the institution's performance with an H-Index of 79 and over 20,000 citations.
