Sivas hosts U-13 Turkish Individual Boxing Championship

The U-13 Women and Men's Turkish Individual Boxing Championship has commenced in Sivas. Organized through a collaboration between the Turkish Boxing Federation and the Sivas Provincial Directorate of Youth and Sports, the event is being held at the Taha Akgül Sports Hall.

A total of 781 athletes representing 64 different provinces are participating in the competition. The opening ceremony included a parade of athletes, followed by a moment of silence and the playing of the Turkish National Anthem. The ceremony was attended by Sivas Youth and Sports Services Manager Aytaç Keklik and Turkish Boxing Federation Board Member Ercüment Aslan.

During the opening, Aytaç Keklik expressed his well wishes to the participants, stating, "We wish success to all our athletes. As Sivas, we are once again hosting a very beautiful organization. I hope the championship passes without injury and I wish success to all participants."

Matches are currently underway, and the championship is scheduled to conclude on Sunday, August 16.
