Sivas producer creates cologne inspired by Sivas Castle scent

Turhan Toka, a cologne producer with 35 years of experience in Sivas, has created a new fragrance named ‘Sivas hatırası’ (Sivas Memory) inspired by the scent of Sivas Castle.

The project began after Toka’s wife noted the unique aroma produced by the vegetation around the castle while they were visiting a tea garden there. To replicate the scent, Toka blended essences from local flowers and plants. The product has gained significant interest from tourists and local families, with many visitors expressing a desire to visit the castle after learning the story behind the fragrance.
