Sivas search continues for missing 11-month-old baby

Search operations continue in the İncedere Plateau region of Divriği, Sivas, to locate 11-month-old Büşra Balıkçı, who went missing from her family's tent on September 10. Approximately 45 personnel and six vehicles, including AFAD, commando, and gendarmerie teams, are conducting searches across a 45-square-kilometer area using AI-supported unmanned aerial vehicles. So far, no traces or findings related to the infant have been discovered.

Several suspects have been detained as part of the investigation. The infant's mother, Elif Balıkçı, and father, Yusuf Balıkçı, along with several relatives, have been arrested. The mother has alleged that the father killed the child and left her in the field, a claim the father denies. A publication ban has been issued by the Divriği Chief Public Prosecutor's Office regarding the case.
