Sivas search continues for missing 11-month-old infant

Search operations continue for 11-month-old Büşra Balıkçı, who has been missing since September 10 in the İncedere Plateau area of Divriği, Sivas. The search involves 53 personnel, 8 vehicles, tracking dogs, cadaver dogs, and AI-supported unmanned aerial vehicles.

Following the disappearance, 12 individuals were detained. Six people, including the infant's parents, Elif and Yusuf Balıkçı, as well as several relatives, have been arrested. Other suspects were released under judicial control. The investigation is complicated by conflicting statements; the mother has alleged that the father either sold the child or killed her and left her in the area, while the father has denied all accusations.

A publication ban has been issued by the Divriği Chief Public Prosecutor's Office regarding the investigation.
