Sivasspor sets extraordinary congress for 8 July 2026

Turkish football club Sivasspor announced an extraordinary general assembly after no candidates stood for the presidency or board positions at its regular meetings on 19 May and 22 June 2026. The club’s board decided the extra meeting will be held on 8 July 2026 at 18:00 in the conference hall of the Sivas Chamber of Commerce and Industry. If a sufficient quorum is not achieved at the first session, a second session is scheduled for 15 July 2026 at the same venue and time. Members were urged to attend, emphasizing the importance of the meeting for the club’s future.

The decision follows the club’s adherence to Turkish civil law and its own internal regulations, which require a new election when the ordinary assemblies fail to produce candidates.
