Five properties and two vehicles were confiscated, one of which contained an electronic compartment designed to hide drugs. Federal forces will continue a security presence in the border area while investigations proceed.

The detainees, captured in Tabasco (Zacatecas) and Jesús María (Aguascalientes), were transferred to the public prosecutor for further legal action.
