Six Galloway Cattle Wander onto Road in Thuringia, Germany
Early Thursday morning, around 03:30, the Eichsfeld police precinct in Thuringia responded to a report of a herd of cattle on a road between the villages of Kefferhausen and Dingelstädt. Officers located six Galloway cows that had apparently escaped from their enclosure and were roaming the street. The search for the animal owner was difficult because the incident occurred shortly before dawn. After a brief period, the owner was found, arrived at the scene and took the cows back into his care. No injuries or traffic disruptions were reported.
The incident was documented by the Thuringian State Police and the report was released through their press office.
