SIX Group launches SIX Market Signal data platform

SIX Group, the parent company of BME and operator of the Swiss exchange, has launched SIX Market Signal, a new data platform designed to make market data more accessible and affordable for both institutional participants and retail investors.

The service utilizes an Application Programming Interface (API) to provide real-time and historical data. A core component is 1BBO, a pan-European market data feed that offers real-time coverage of securities in Switzerland, the United Kingdom, and 16 European markets covered by Aquis Exchange.

For retail investors, the platform offers direct access to real-time exchange data through tiered subscription plans. The most basic plan starts at 16 Swiss francs per month, with higher-tier options available, including a Pro plan for 70 Swiss francs that allows unlimited queries. For institutions, the platform enables broader data distribution across various departments, such as wealth management, benchmarking, and regulatory compliance.
