Dhar road accident kills six family members

Six members of a family from Vadodara, Gujarat, were killed and one person was critically injured in a fatal road accident in the Badnawar area of Dhar district, Madhya Pradesh. The victims were returning to Gujarat after visiting the Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain.

According to local police, the collision occurred when a container truck traveling on the wrong side of the highway struck the family's van. The impact was severe, causing significant damage to the vehicle. Authorities stated that the truck driver was allegedly under the influence of alcohol at the time of the incident.

Police have initiated an investigation and are conducting a medico-legal case (MLC) against the driver. The injured individual was rushed to the Badnawar Civil Hospital, where they remain in critical condition.
