Six Men Arrested in Connection with Fatal Clapham Stabbing
A 22‑year‑old man was fatally stabbed at approximately 04:20 am on a Saturday near Tremadoc Road and Clapham High Street in south‑west London. Six men were arrested on suspicion of murder; four of them were taken to hospital with non‑life‑threatening stab injuries, while two additional suspects were detained at the hospital. Detectives have set up a crime scene cordon and increased police presence in the area.
Detective Chief Inspector Sarah Lee is leading the inquiry and said "our enquiries are progressing quickly." Superintendent Mark Gallacher urged the public to provide any information. One of the suspects, Javed Khan (22), has been charged with murder and violent disorder, and a second suspect, Adonay Berhan (27), was charged with assisting an offender.
Police continue to investigate the circumstances of the stabbing and are seeking witnesses.
