SIX musical arrives at Teatro Gran Vía in Spanish
The musical SIX has arrived at the Teatro Gran Vía, offering a contemporary pop-style reimagining of the lives of Henry VIII’s six wives. Rather than focusing on the monarch, the production centers on the women, allowing them to reclaim their own narratives through music and performance.
Spain marks the first European country to launch its own Spanish-language production of the award-winning show. The production, led by Julia Gómez Cora and Dmitry Bogachev, features a reconstructed script designed to maintain the humor and rhythmic pulse of the original English songs. The cast includes Clara Lanzani, Udara Zubillaga, Beatriz Santana, Liz Tatis, Arianna Galletti, and Alba Egilo.
