Six researchers awarded in Milan for scientific imagery project

Six researchers from the Lombardy region have been awarded in the final event of the ‘Tales – The Art of Life Sciences’ project held in Milan. The initiative, promoted by the Bion Lombardy Life Sciences Cluster in collaboration with the Lombardy Region, aims to use scientific laboratory imagery to foster dialogue between science and society.

The winning images were produced by Laura Bonanomi, Francesca Caselli, Michela Dosi, Marica Rosaria Ippolito, Nadia Mansour, and Emilia Petillo. These selected works are among 30 entries that will be displayed on digital totems across six Milan metro stations, including Duomo, Centrale, and Garibaldi, until September 27.

The project involves over 30 universities and research centers within the region and is supported by Fondazione Cariplo, argenx, and Diasorin. Gianluca Vago, president of Bion, noted that the images capture invisible worlds and represent fragments of discovery and innovation.
