Sixth Army Division begins patriotic celebrations in Tarapacá

The Sixth Army Division has launched the September celebrations for the Army Month and National Holidays in the Tarapacá Region. The festivities commenced with a musical gala at the Teatro Municipal de Iquique, featuring a repertoire ranging from 1980s classics to military marches.

Brigadier General Javier Abarzúa Dasse, commander of the Sixth Division, noted the high artistic quality of the event. In addition to the musical performance, the institution held a traditional flag-raising ceremony in the Peñón sector of Alto Hospicio. The upcoming schedule includes religious ceremonies, communal parades, and Te Deum services, with military bands scheduled to perform in public spaces such as the ZOFRI zone.
