SixTONES reaches 17th consecutive number-one single

The Japanese music group SixTONES has achieved significant commercial success with their 18th single, ‘Dance Forever/My Only’. According to the latest Oricon Weekly Single Ranking and Billboard JAPAN Top Singles Sales charts for the period of September 7 to September 13, 2026, the release debuted at number one.

On the Oricon charts, the single recorded first-week sales of 436,000 copies, marking the group’s 17th consecutive number-one single. This achievement makes SixTONES only the fourth male artist in history to record 17 consecutive singles with first-week sales exceeding 300,000 copies, joining B’z, Arashi, and King & Prince.

Billboard JAPAN reported first-week sales of 430,312 copies for the same period. The double A-side single includes ‘Dance Forever’ and ‘My Only’, the latter of which serves as the theme song for the Nippon TV drama ‘Kokuhaku - 25-nenme no Himitsu’, starring group member Matsumura Hokuto.
