Turkey's Agriculture Minister Yumaklı Announces 301 Million Lira Farm Support
On 31 July 2026 Agriculture and Forestry Minister İbrahim Yumaklı announced that a total of 301,345,000 Turkish lira in agricultural support will be transferred to farmers’ bank accounts today. The package is split between 299,059,172 TL for rural‑development investment and 2,285,828 TL for certified‑seed usage. Yumaklı said the measures aim to sustain production, improve efficiency and strengthen the sector’s contribution to food security. The minister posted the details on his official social‑media account, confirming that eligible producers can monitor the payments through their banking channels.
