Sōjō University and Kamimura Gakuen sign partnership to enhance STEM education

Sōjō University and Kamimura Gakuen (middle and high school division) concluded an education‑collaboration agreement on 31 July 2026. The signing ceremony was held at Sōjō University’s Ikeda campus in Kumamoto City, attended by university president Ono Nagato and Kamimura Gakuen’s principal and senior‑high division manager Nishimuta Takahiro.

The agreement commits both institutions to deepen cooperation in education, research and cultural activities. It will provide special lectures, dispatched faculty, and inquiry‑based learning support for Kamimura Gakuen’s middle‑ and high‑school students. Emphasis will be placed on strengthening understanding of science, technology, engineering and mathematics fields such as pharmacy and semiconductor education, with the goal of cultivating future STEM talent.
