SK Artis Brno added to Czech Chance Liga for 2026‑27 season

Following the disciplinary exclusion of MFK Karviná from the top‑flight Chance Liga, the Liga fotbalové asociace (LFA) sought a replacement to keep the league at sixteen clubs. The first offer was made to Táborsko, which declined. SK Artis Brno then accepted the invitation and will take Karviná’s place in the 2026‑27 Chance Liga, while Karviná will compete in the Chance National League.

LFA spokesperson Tomáš Bárta said, “For league football it was essential to maintain the stability and integrity of the professional competitions, so we are glad the issue was resolved quickly and ahead of the season start.” Dukla Prague’s request to be considered was rejected because the club had already been confirmed as a relegated side at the close of the 2025‑26 season, making it ineligible for the vacancy.

The decision allows the league schedule to proceed without further disruption and confirms Artis Brno’s participation for the upcoming season.
