SK Broadband and partners to innovate welfare services with AI and quantum security

SK Broadband, SK Telecom, and the Korea Social Security Information Service have signed a business agreement to drive digital innovation in social security services. The partnership aims to enhance welfare services through the integration of artificial intelligence, quantum security, and cloud technology.

Key initiatives include using telecommunications data and AI to proactively identify households in welfare crises and providing AI-based counseling support. To protect sensitive data against future quantum computing threats, the organizations will demonstrate an AI-driven autonomous security system based on Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) and support the application of quantum communication technologies.

Additionally, the collaboration will involve establishing and operating hardware, software, and security systems within cloud environments. The three entities have formed a joint operating consultative body to develop specific implementation plans for these digital transformation projects.
