SK Group Chairman Chey Tae-won was spotted dining with employees at an outdoor barbecue restaurant in the Euljiro district of Seoul. Dressed casually in a khaki shirt and padded vest, Chey engaged in conversation with young staff members while enjoying barbecue, beer, and soju.

Following the initial meal, the group reportedly moved to a nearby Jeju cuisine specialty restaurant for a second round of dining. Videos of the informal gathering have circulated widely on social media, surpassing one million views. This event follows a similar instance in 2019 when Chey held a ‘Lightning Happiness Talk’ to communicate freely with employees.

Separately, SK Hynix announced it has completed a 40 trillion won treasury stock purchase approximately one month ahead of its original schedule, intending to incinerate all 24.07 million shares acquired.
