SK Group launches SK AIGEN AI training program

SK Group has announced the launch of ‘SK AIGEN’, a new two-year, full-time non-degree training program designed to cultivate young talent for the artificial intelligence era. The initiative targets individuals aged 19 to 34 who wish to pursue innovation and career development through practical problem-solving rather than traditional academic credentials.

Participants will receive a monthly growth stipend of 3 million won (approximately $2,200) for the duration of the two-year program. The curriculum focuses on a project-based approach where students identify and solve real-world problems facing individuals, businesses, and society using AI. The first year involves project planning and execution, while the second year focuses on gaining hands-on experience tailored to individual career paths.

SK will collaborate with the Seoul National University AI Institute to provide humanities-based insights and career design support. The program, managed by SK’s talent development platform mySUNI, does not guarantee employment at SK or award formal degrees. Recruitment for the first cohort will take place from November 1 to November 15, with approximately 50 participants expected to begin the program in March 2027.
