SK hynix targets AI factory development via NVIDIA and TSMC alliance

SK Group Chairman Chey Tae-won has emphasized a strategic triangular alliance between SK hynix, NVIDIA, and TSMC to advance the development of AI factories.

During a visit to the SK hynix booth at COMPUTEX in Taipei, Che stated that while the company currently produces AI memory chips, its future goal is to challenge the construction of AI factories. These factories refer to the infrastructure required to train and infer large-scale AI models and apply them to industrial and service sectors using high-performance GPUs.
