SK Incheon Petrochemical donates necessities to Incheon residents

SK Incheon Petrochemical has donated approximately 15 million won worth of daily necessities to 680 vulnerable households in the Seohae-gu district of Incheon to mark the Chuseok holiday. The distribution includes low-income families and elderly individuals living alone in areas such as Sinhyeon-dong, Wonchang-dong, Seongnam-dong, and Cheongna-dong.

The company has maintained this tradition of supporting local low-income families during the Lunar New Year and Chuseok holidays since 2008. Additionally, the company utilizes its ‘1% Happiness Sharing Fund’—a matching grant program where employees donate 1% of their base salary—to fund various social welfare projects, including medical expenses for the elderly, housing improvements, and support for developmental disabilities.
