ČSK Uherský Brod patron proposes new stadium funding

Aleš Bábíček, a patron of the ČSK Uherský Brod football club, has proposed funding for a new municipal stadium to address the club's lack of adequate facilities. The club, founded in 1893, currently lacks its own suitable training and match grounds, forcing players to rent facilities in surrounding municipalities.

The proposed modern stadium would have a capacity of 2,000 spectators and is planned for the Prakšická location, a site designated in the local zoning plan since 1994. A primary obstacle to construction—an insufficient water source for irrigation—has reportedly been resolved. Bábíček noted that current training conditions are critical, with summer temperatures on artificial turf reaching up to 50 degrees Celsius, which threatens the retention of youth players.
