Skanska plans hotel construction in Warsaw's Mokotów district

Skanska, through its subsidiary A23 (part of Skanska Commercial Development Europe), has received building permission to construct a hotel in Warsaw's Mokotów district. The project is located on a triangular plot bounded by Sobieskiego, Idzikowskiego, and Witosa streets.

The development marks a shift in strategy for the site. Previously, the developer had planned to build the V-Point office building, a project dating back to 2014 intended to provide approximately 13,000 square meters of rental space. The new hotel is expected to have a volume of over 55,000 cubic meters.

The project is being designed by Michał Tatjewski from the 22architekci studio. The site is situated near the existing Witosa Point office building and another ongoing development, the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Sobieskiego, which is being converted from a long-standing unfinished structure.
