Skarżysko-Kamienna pool reconstruction faces delays and higher costs

The reconstruction of a swimming pool in Skarżysko-Kamienna faces significant delays and cost increases. An independent audit revealed that while the contractor claimed 95 percent completion, the actual progress is only 70 percent.

The project's total cost is expected to rise from an initial 24.5 million PLN to approximately 34 million PLN, an increase of nearly 10 million PLN. The contractor left the construction site on September 10, leaving several subcontractors unpaid for their services. The supervising company, Miejskie Inwestycje, intends to announce a new tender to complete the remaining works.
