Skateboarder Danny León performs maneuver during solar eclipse in Spain

Spanish skateboarder Danny León performed a specialized trick during a solar eclipse in Spain, a feat he described as the “manobra da sua vida” (maneuver of my life). The project required over a year of preparation, including the construction of a custom ramp provided by SB Ramps.

The technical execution involved precise timing to align the athlete's silhouette with the solar phenomenon. The filming team, consisting of filmmaker Gonzalo de Vega and photographer Jose Izquierdo, had to manage rapid lighting changes as the eclipse reached totality. The team also prepared a backup location approximately 100 kilometers away in case weather conditions prevented the shoot at the primary site.

León, a former Tokyo 2021 Olympic park competitor, shared the footage on social media, where it quickly gained significant traction, surpassing 14 million likes.
