Skatesterre arcade skate game slated for worldwide release on August 13, 2026

Headup Games and developer Goon Squad announced that the arcade‑style skateboarding title Skatesterre will launch globally on 13 August 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC via Steam. The game follows Dutch skater Sterre Meijer, known as “Surfsterre,” through fast‑paced levels filled with ramps, rails and hidden routes.

Skatesterre aims to recapture the feel of early‑2000s skate‑arcade classics, offering precise controls, complex combo chains, mission‑based objectives and unlockable clothing and accessories. An original punk‑rock soundtrack underlines the retro‑inspired gameplay.

The announcement was accompanied by a new trailer released by publisher Headup Games, confirming the multi‑platform release schedule.
