Skay Beilinson returns to La Plata, concert draws 6,000 fans
Legendary Argentine guitarist Skay Beilinson performed with Los Fakires at the Hipódromo in La Plata, attracting more than 6,000 supporters. The show marked his first appearance in the city in 12‑13 years, after an originally planned venue at Estadio Atenas was changed to accommodate higher demand.
Fans greeted the concert with tributes to the late Carlos “Indio” Solari, a former bandmate in Patricio Rey y sus Redonditos de Ricota, and the set opened with instrumental pieces before moving into songs such as “Paria,” “Soldadito de plomo,” and “Tal vez mañana.” The event was also listed in the local cultural agenda as a headline concert for the evening.
The gathering highlighted the enduring popularity of Skay’s solo work and the deep connection between the audience and the legacy of the Argentine rock scene.
