Üsküdar Mosque Hosts 400-Child Festival in Istanbul

Around 400 children aged 7‑14 gathered at the Hacı Nuri Topbaş Mosque in Üsküdar, Istanbul, for the "Minare Gölgesinde Çocuk Şenliği". The free event featured traditional Hacivat‑Karagöz performances, inflatable play areas, and various games. Imam Bilal Aydemir said, "400 güzel yavrumuza çok güzel bir şenlik hazırladık…" and added that the mosque "adeta çiçek açtı" as it welcomed the children.

Organisers emphasized that the festival aimed to provide a joyful, community‑building experience after a period of challenging events, encouraging children to remember the mosque positively in the future.
