Üsküdar residents mark 365 days of McDonald's protests

Residents of the Bahçelievler neighborhood in Üsküdar have reached the 365th day of continuous protests against a local McDonald's branch. The demonstrators are calling for the establishment's closure, citing opposition to the company's perceived support for Israel.

Protesters reported that they have previously submitted thousands of signatures to the Üsküdar Municipality to express their desire to not have the company in their neighborhood. Following recent municipal inspections, authorities have reportedly issued a notice to the establishment, granting it three days to close before it is officially sealed by municipal teams.

The demonstrations have included nightly vigils and symbolic performances by local residents and community members.
