Skechers and VEJA launch new high-performance running footwear

Footwear brands Skechers and VEJA are expanding their presence in the high-performance running market with new specialized models.

Skechers has introduced the AERO Elite, its most advanced competitive running shoe designed for distances ranging from 5K to marathons. The model features Hyper Burst Pro™ ultra-lightweight foam and a full-length Quantum Plate™ carbon plate to enhance energy return. The shoe is engineered for lightness, weighing approximately 167 grams in a men's size 9.

VEJA has entered the trail running sector with the launch of the Harpie, its first vegan performance shoe specifically developed for diverse terrains. To showcase the model, the brand organized an event in Brazil featuring Chilean athlete Clemente de Heeckeren. De Heeckeren tested the footwear during the Paraty UTMB Brasil, a 54-kilometer race characterized by mud, rocks, and significant elevation changes.
