Skechers launches glow-in-the-dark running shoe series

Skechers Japan has announced the release of the ‘SKECHERS AERO Glow in the Dark’ series, scheduled for launch on October 9, 2026. The new line features two models: the ‘AERO Burst’ and ‘AERO Spark’.

Designed for autumn running when daylight hours decrease, these shoes feature phosphorescent outsoles that glow in the dark after exposure to sunlight or artificial light, enhancing runner visibility and safety. The series incorporates ‘Skechers Hands Free Slip-ins’ technology for easy wear, along with HYPER BURST ICE™ midsoles, carbon-infused plates for energy return, and Arch Fit® support systems. The outsoles utilize Goodyear® Performance rubber for improved traction.
