Skechers launches new basketball shoe collection in Japan

Skechers has announced the release of its 2026 autumn/winter basketball shoe collection in Japan. The new lineup includes three low-cut models: the SKX League 2.0, SKX Leza Grip 2.0, and SKX Rain 2.0. These shoes feature advanced technologies such as the 6GEN™ foam midsole and HYPER BURST PRO™ sockliner to provide cushioning, responsiveness, and energy return.

In addition to the new product launch, Skechers has expanded its roster of professional basketball athletes in Japan. Keita Imamura of the Nagoya Diamond Dolphins and Kazuki Hosokawa of the Gunma Crane Thunders have signed contracts with the brand. Both players will wear the latest models during official games and training sessions and will participate in upcoming brand advertisements.

The new footwear will be available through the Skechers official online store, select Skechers retail locations, and the sports retailer GALLERY·2.
