Skechers puts Manhattan Beach headquarters on the market

Footwear brand Skechers is selling its longtime corporate headquarters located in Manhattan Beach, California. The three-story building, situated at 228 Manhattan Beach Boulevard near the Pacific Ocean, spans approximately 28,600 square feet.

Originally constructed in 1982, the property underwent an extensive refurbishment in 2018 to serve as a dedicated corporate base. The facility includes a private, three-level underground parking garage with 69 spaces and potential for ground-floor retail. While no official asking price has been disclosed, the property is estimated to be worth close to $100 million.

Commercial real estate firm CBRE is managing the competitive bidding process. The building will be delivered vacant to the next owner. Skechers has not disclosed the reasons for the sale, and it remains unclear if employees will relocate to a new office or how the company’s on-site apparel store will be affected.
