Skellefteå AIK talent Olle Lundström to make SHL debut as defenseman

Olle Lundström, an 18-year-old player for Skellefteå AIK, is set to make his SHL debut as a defenseman in an upcoming match against Timrå IK.

Lundström, who previously played as a forward throughout his junior career, underwent a position change to defenseman only eight weeks ago. Following an injury to Frans Haara during a game against the Malmö Redhawks, Lundström has been called up from the club's U20 team. Since transitioning to the defensive role, he has recorded eleven points in eight U20 National matches, leading all defensemen in scoring for that league.
