Ski athletics stadium receives 6.2 million NOK for upgrades

The Ski athletics stadium is undergoing an extensive upgrade following the allocation of 6.2 million NOK in funding. The project, which includes new drainage systems, insulation, and a new grass surface without rubber granules, is expected to be completed by October 15.

The renovated facility is designed to meet both national competition standards and World Athletics functional requirements. The upgrades include new installations for water pits, throwing areas, and running tracks, with an expected lifespan of over 30 years if properly maintained.
