Ski jumpers Lisa Eder and Manuel Fettner marry in Leogang

Austrian ski jumpers Lisa Eder and Manuel Fettner have married in Leogang. The couple, who have been in a relationship since 2022, celebrated their wedding with a ceremony that included a ski honor guard formed by fellow athletes.

The marriage follows a period of professional tension between Eder and the Austrian Ski Federation. In early 2026, Eder had briefly announced her retirement from competitive skiing due to a disagreement regarding Fettner’s role on her technical staff. However, an agreement was reached in August, allowing Eder to resume her career with Fettner serving as part of her preparation team.

Following the wedding, the 25-year-old athlete will compete under her new name, Lisa Fettner. Manuel Fettner, 41, is an Olympic gold medalist from the 2022 Beijing Games and retired from professional competition following the previous season.
