Skin quality and collagen stimulation trends rise globally

A global study conducted by Galderma involving over 11,000 participants across 11 countries indicates that skin quality has become a significant health and well-being concern. The research found that 9 in 10 people prioritize skin vitality, firmness, and hydration. The primary aesthetic concerns identified include fine lines and wrinkles (41%), dry skin (40%), and a lack of luminosity (37%).

Injectable treatments have seen high approval ratings, with over 80% satisfaction for addressing specific issues. For instance, hyaluronic acid received an 86% approval rate for treating fine lines, while collagen biostimulators saw 84% approval for the same concern. Medical experts note that since collagen production decreases by approximately 1% annually starting at age 20, there is a growing demand for personalized protocols to restore skin thickness and elasticity.

This trend toward skin longevity and natural preservation is also reflected in the use of advanced technologies like radiofrequency. Such procedures aim to stimulate collagen remodeling at various tissue depths to combat signs of aging without altering fundamental facial characteristics.
