Skincare product tests evaluate anti-aging effectiveness

Recent consumer product tests in Germany have evaluated various anti-aging and facial skincare products, focusing on effectiveness for mature skin and wrinkle reduction.

In a comparison of 26 facial creams, the Neutrogena Hydro Boost Aqua Creme was named a winner for its light texture and intensive hydration, particularly suitable for those over 60. Alverde Vital Night Cream with lupine peptides was also noted as a budget-friendly option.

A separate analysis of 21 anti-wrinkle creams highlighted that products with active ingredients like retinoids, Vitamin C, and peptides tend to perform better. While some affordable brands were tested, the study suggested that more significant anti-wrinkle effects often require higher-priced products. Specifically, RevitaLAB + Hemp Seed Oil, Nivea Q10 Anti-Falten, and Arya Laya Exclusive Repair failed to convince testers due to a lack of active anti-wrinkle effects.

Additionally, the frei öl Anti-Age Oil was tested by a community of 226 users. Designed as an all-in-one product for both face and body, it aims to firm skin, smooth fine lines by up to 30 percent, and provide a glow through cell regeneration and antioxidant protection.
