Skincare testing reveals top moisturizing and anti-aging products

Recent consumer testing has evaluated various skincare products, focusing on moisturizing and anti-aging effectiveness. In a test of moisturizing day creams, La Roche-Posay Hydraphase HA Leicht achieved the highest overall rating due to its pleasant skin feel, high moisture performance, and lack of detectable allergens, formaldehyde, or phthalates. However, it was noted for its high price and less sustainable plastic packaging.

Balea, a brand from DM, was recognized as the best value for money. In a separate analysis of 21 anti-wrinkle creams, researchers emphasized that effective products typically require higher-quality active ingredients such as retinoids, Vitamin C, and peptides. The testing indicated that some popular, lower-cost brands, including Nivea Q10 and RevitaLAB, failed to demonstrate significant anti-wrinkle effects compared to more premium options.
