Skincare trends shift from glass skin to natural bloom skin aesthetic
The beauty industry is seeing a shift in skincare aesthetics, moving from the highly reflective ‘glass skin’ trend toward a more natural ‘bloom skin’ ideal. While glass skin focused on achieving a near-perfect, wet-looking surface, bloom skin emphasizes skin that looks healthy, hydrated, and radiant from within, prioritizing skin barrier health and long-term functionality over immediate visual effects.
In line with this trend, FOREO has introduced Glazed Skin Milk under its FOREO For EveryOne sub-brand. This lightweight milky toner and essence hybrid utilizes microemulsion technology to deliver active ingredients more efficiently. The formula contains five ceramides to strengthen the skin barrier, 2% niacinamide for brightening, and acetyl hexapeptide-8 to reduce the appearance of fine lines. The product is designed to provide hydration and a smooth finish without a sticky residue.
