Skindred releases new single and video to support mental health

Welsh ragga metal band Skindred has released a music video for their new single, ‘Big Em Up’, from their number one album ‘You Got This’. Released ahead of World Mental Health Day on October 10, the song is intended to offer support to those experiencing anxiety, depression, or other mental health challenges.

Lead singer Benji Webbe described the track as a call for people to check on their friends and encourage positivity in the face of life's stressors and social media negativity.

The band is preparing for a UK and Ireland tour, beginning October 23 at Nottingham’s Rock City. As part of their ‘Night of The Living Dred’ Halloween show at London’s Alexandra Palace on October 31, Skindred will donate £1 from every ticket sold to the charity Metal For Good, which supports mental health, wellbeing, and community potential.
