Skip Bayless to join Stephen A. Smith on First Take and SiriusXM

Skip Bayless is returning to ESPN for recurring appearances alongside Stephen A. Smith. The duo announced that Bayless will join Smith every Friday on SiriusXM’s Mad Dog Sports Radio and will appear on ESPN’s ‘First Take’ on the last Friday of every month.

During their reunion on Smith’s SiriusXM show, Bayless also addressed recent public disputes regarding the 2012 hiring of moderator Cari Champion. Bayless corroborated Smith’s account of the hiring process, noting that producer Jamie Horowitz had tasked Smith with convincing Bayless to approve Champion for the role. This follows recent comments made by Champion and Jemele Hill regarding the circumstances of her hiring at ESPN.
