Skip Ewing Announces New Country Album 'Dragonfly' for September Release

Award‑winning country singer‑songwriter Skip Ewing announced his upcoming album Dragonfly, scheduled for release on September 18, 2026. The ten‑track record blends contemporary country production with themes of love, hope and personal transformation, and includes the newly released single “Not Me This Time,” a ballad about breaking free from a toxic cycle.

Ewing said the dragonfly symbolizes spiritual growth, metamorphosis and renewal, reflecting his recent years spent working with horses on a Wyoming ranch. He wrote all songs himself except a cover of John Fogerty’s “Down On The Corner.” The album was produced with longtime collaborators five‑time Grammy‑winning engineer F. Reid Shippen and three‑time Grammy‑winning guitarist Bryan Sutton. Dragonfly will be available for pre‑order, on CD, and in a limited vinyl run.
