Skittles introduces dual-texture Gummy Crystals candy

Skittles is expanding its confectionery lineup with the introduction of Gummy Crystals, a new product featuring a soft gummy center paired with a tangy, crunchy candy coating. The product will initially be available in two varieties: Original, which includes strawberry, lemon, grape, orange, and green apple flavors, and Tropical Splash, featuring fruit punch, pink lemonade, mango melon, pineapple, and watermelon.

According to Ro Cheng, marketing vice president of Mars Snacking North America, the development of the product was driven by consumer demand for multi-textured treats. The launch will begin with a digital-first approach, offering limited bundles exclusively through TikTok Shop starting November 2. A wider national rollout in the United States is expected in 2027 following an initial release in select retail locations.
