SKK Migas and KEI provide assistance to street vendors in Sumenep
SKK Migas and Kangean Energy Indonesia (KEI) have provided mobile bicycle carts to 10 street vendors in Pagerungan Kecil Village, Sapeken District, Sumenep Regency, East Java.
This initiative is part of the 2026 Community Involvement and Development Program (PPM) under the SAKTI program, which aims to support the growth of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) at the village level. The assistance was requested by the local government based on aspirations from the vendors themselves.
Village Head Halilurrahman noted that there are approximately 29 mobile cake vendors in the village. Following the distribution of 10 units, the village administration plans to seek further support through village budgets or future PPM requests to ensure remaining vendors receive similar aid.
